ALVIA delivered – a true Burgess full-service yacht

We are delighted to announce that the 76.1m (249.6ft) Feadship ALVIA was delivered to her owner at the Royal Van Lent shipyard in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, on 30 April 2024.

This is an outstanding example of Burgess’ full-service offering. Our Brokerage team advised and guided the owner through the commercial complexities of the purchase process in 2019. The build was project managed by our Technical Services team, collaborating with the owner’s representatives and some of the industry’s best engineers and designers from pre-contract specification and contract development to final sea trials and acceptance. The crew was sourced by our Crew Services team and our Yacht Management team looks after the yacht’s operation. 

Known as PROJECT HANAMI during the build, after the Japanese festival of the cherry blossom, the newly named ALVIA features flowing exterior lines from the board of RWD. The British studio also worked alongside Susan Young Interiors to realise the owner’s vision for the interiors. 

Stand-out features on this new Feadship include a 6.4m (21ft) main deck pool, versatile foredeck sports court, folding balconies on the owner’s deck, main to bridge deck elevator, lower deck wellness centre with gym, spa and sea terrace, and interactive bridge deck lighting.

Her 2,265GT and 13.2m beam offers a feeling of space while onboard, and her transoceanic range of 5,500nm allows for her to travel with ease between her cruising grounds of the Mediterranean, Caribbean and beyond.
