THE COMPETITION

What is it that makes your time at sea unforgettable? The jaw-dropping landscapes, sky-stained sunsets, wildlife encounters, camaraderie with your fellow crew... You have a unique perspective, and we want to see it. 

Your imagery - moving or still - should capture the moment from your vantage point on deck, allowing viewers to immerse themselves in the magic of the maritime world.

SUSTAINABILITY

Whatever your chosen VIEW FROM THE DECK, we want to highlight the impact of responsible and sustainable practices within the yachting industry. We encourage you to include elements that illustrate the beauty and fragility of the marine environment. You have a unique opportunity - no one else sees the oceans the way you do.

PRIZES

The photography and vidoegraphy winners will each be awarded a DJI Mini 3 (DJI RC) drone. This compact, easy-to-use drone comes with a remote controller with screen, level 5 wind resistance, true vertical shooting, and extended battery life. It also folds up and packs away, weighing under 249g - ideal for travelling light.

Our photography winner will also be published on the cover of Dockwalk, and the videography winner will feature on the Dockwalk website, both with interviews about their entry.

Entries are welcomed from 13.00 BST on 25 July 2023 and the competition will close for entries at 13.00 BST on 18 September. Winners will be announced by the end of October 2023 via our Instagram page @burgessyachtscrew, on the Burgess website and all other Burgess and Dockwalk social media channels.

All entries will be judged by a panel from Blue iProd, Burgess, and Dockwalk.
