The elegant FAIR LADY is available for charter
Published 02 九月 2019
Elegance, style and space are the characteristic features of classic motor yacht FAIR LADY, and it’s these hallmarks which make her an unforgettable charter option. Simply stepping on board this distinguished vessel takes you back to an earlier, simpler time.
With availability throughout September, she’s an ideal option to watch the classic yacht regattas in the South of France such as Monaco Classic Week, Régates Royale Cannes and Les Voiles de St Tropez.
FAIR LADY is sure to cut a stylish profile wherever she goes. Originally delivered in 1928, her refined original features have been restored and improved, combining the original facilities, custom wooden elements and art deco fittings with the ease of modern convenience.
Camper & Nicholsons launched the yacht in Southampton and she was one of the biggest achievements of designer C.E. Nicholson’s career. A rich history followed, with rumours of her ferrying refugees to South America and safety during the war. As her war log books are lost to history, we will never know for sure.
Stunning traditional features include the original ship’s wheel and brass binnacle, portholes that make you feel as though you’re peering into another time and mahogany and pear wood detailing and furniture. This stands alongside the very latest technology and communications equipment, creating an atmosphere of tranquil comfort.
FAIR LADY’s interiors are elegant yet cosy, with an art nouveau flair. The main deck holds a card room just begging for a round of poker to be played on its authentic furniture. The formal dining room echoes with the conversations of yesteryear – you can almost hear the Roaring Twenties cocktail glasses chinking.
The flawless deck space is generous, with plenty of space for sunning oneself on the traditional wooden sun loungers and dining leisurely in the sheltered nook on the sun deck while taking in the view.
Accommodating eight guests, the cabins are cosy and comfortable. The full beam master cabin has an en suite bathroom, dignified bureau and sofas beneath the two portholes to port and starboard. Two aft cabins, one twin and one double, have en suite bathrooms and are charmingly self-contained with tasteful decoration. Two single cabins, located forward, have their own basins and share a large bathroom. Tradition is maintained throughout.
A chic, elegant example of luxury yachts of previous times, FAIR LADY is the perfect option for those who appreciate history and want to enjoy an experience that can’t be found elsewhere.
