After graduating with a Master’s in the UK, Mark worked on yachts around the world before moving to Asia in 2003. As one of the most experienced yachting professionals in the region, Mark joined Burgess in Asia in 2015 and has recently been promoted to lead the brokerage team. 

Based in Hong Kong, he has helped many Asian clients with their yachting needs and holds a track record of handling sale and purchase transactions for yachts over 50m, including one of the top 10 brokerage deals globally in 2018 and 2019. Mark has also advised clients for semi-custom or custom new build projects in European shipyards, most recently for the 55m Amels PAPA.

Knowledgeable about boating globally and in Asia especially, he brings personal insight on the world’s top yachting destinations, whether for an owner's personal use or for commercial operations.

Mark enjoys sailing in regattas and racing offshore out of the Royal Hong Kong Yacht club including blue water classics in the South China Sea and regattas in Thailand.
