Gautama, a former Asian sailing medallist, commissioned and ran India’s Olympic Sailing Centre at Bombay. As well as being a round the world yachtsman, he holds the high altitude sailing world record for his exploits on Lake Deotal at 5,480m. One of India’s prominent yachting personalities, Gautama is a founder member of the India Marine Federation and is very knowledgeable about boating in India, Sri Lanka and the Maldives. Gautama is the Executive Director of Marine Solutions, India’s leading yachting company with offices in Mumbai, Goa and Kolkata. In addition to being Chief Representative, he will also take the lead on all charter developments for Burgess in the region.
