Charles is a yacht insurance manager, brokering tailored insurance policies for clients’ yachts on behalf of Burgess Yachting Financial Services. He joined the company in 2013, having previously worked as an auditor for Deloitte’s Insurance and Investment department, and then an insurance broker for a boutique brokerage house that specialised in high net worth individuals.

After graduating from Bristol University with a BA in Economics and History, Charles spent two years as a yacht captain sailing in the North Atlantic, Caribbean and Icelandic Arctic Circle. He is an active member of the Royal Thames Yacht Club, treasurer of the London branch of Young People in Yachting (YPY) and enjoys regatta racing with the Royal Thames and Royal Ocean Racing clubs.
