Andrew joined Burgess in 2020. Prior to joining Burgess, Andrew practised as a lawyer in England and Australia and spent many years specialising in marine law with leading law firms in London and Sydney. Moving in-house, Andrew joined an international marine insurer where he advised on a wide range of legal issues in addition to having global responsibility for all high profile superyacht cases. Andrew is a recognised speaker for Lloyd’s Maritime Academy and has presented at a number of international conferences.

Outside of work, Andrew enjoys spending time with his family, adventure travel and, as a keen sailor, he has been fortunate to race in a number of offshore yacht races including Sydney to Hobart.
