Growing up on the UK south coast, Hamish started sailing aged 5 and has been on the water ever since. His sea going career began in the Merchant Navy on container ships and product tankers before moving into the yachting industry in 2005.  Since then he has worked to the rank of Captain on a number of high profile charter and private yachts travelling the globe and visiting some of the world's best cruising grounds. He is a Class 1 Master Mariner and is now putting his knowledge and experience to good use ashore.

Hamish loves the outdoors and particularly enjoys sailing, kite surfing, cycling, camping and rugby.
