Amy joined the Yacht Management department straight out of The Oxford Media and Business school in 2021 where she earnt herself a Professional Business Diploma. Amy is originally from Burnham-on-Crouch where she learned to sail dinghies. She was brought up on sailing around the world with her family on their boat exploring places in the Mediterranean, North Sea and Western Atlantic. After leaving school in Salisbury, she took a gap year and spent a month in Fiji volunteering before heading to Australia where she worked in Sydney for four months.

She is a keen scuba diver, swimmer and is a member of the Royal Thames Yacht Club where she sails J70s.
