Michela grew up in Viareggio and was always fascinated by the yachts moored in the marina. She studied Pleasure Craft Engineering at Genova University, and after taking part in a European exchange programme, graduated in Southampton, obtaining a BEng(Hons) in Yacht and Powercraft Design. She joined Burgess as technical assistant in August 2014 following a few months of travel. Michela has a passion for ballet; after studying and practising for 11 years, she is now content with going to the theatre as often as possible. Michela speaks English, Italian, Spanish and Portuguese.
