Sylwia started sailing as teenager and her passion for the sea brought her to Nautical Academy, from which she graduated with an MSc in Navigation and Maritime Transport. During her career at sea, she crossed the Atlantic, Indian and Pacific Oceans several times, visiting five continents on variety of vessels, from small sailing yachts through cargo ships, luxury mega yachts and 300m cruise ships. Sylwia spent more than 10 years working at sea worldwide and with this experience and dedication for learning more every day she earned her Chief Officer Unlimited ticket. Especially interested in new construction, refit and new technology, she has decided to move shoreside with Burgess as Associate Yacht manager.

In her free time, Sylwia enjoys kitesurfing, cycling, skiing, hiking and sailing. She loves travelling, meeting people from different backgrounds and learning about different cultures.
