Description
APSARA is a 56,1m (184ft) ketch built by Royal Huisman that combined classic hull lines with a powerful modern rig and a clean, contemporary aesthetic above and below decks.
Her deck features two low-profile teak clad deckhouses, and a mid-deck lounge area with a sun canopy which can easily be set up when at anchor. The main cockpit is the perfect spot for socialising, sheltered by a large bimini, with tables that can serve as individual, low-level coffee tables or elevate and integrate to seat a party of 10, or provide an intimate breakfast setting for just two.
Inside, Mark Whiteley has designed a classic modern interior with brush-painted white panelling and deckheads, and contrasting mahogany joinery for walls and flooring. The overall ambiance is calm and elegant, akin to the style of homes in New England. In the main deck saloon, natural light streams through the panoramic windows. Forward, a staircase descends to a lower saloon with a high-res cinema screen, an excellent sound system, and comfortable seating, plus a fully equipped gym.
APSARA accommodates eight guests across four cabins. Special attention has been paid to the owner’s suite, where natural light floods in from an oval skylight. Expect a private deckhouse, an office, a walk-in wardrobe and a double bed. The remaining accommodation is in the form of two double guest cabins aft and one convertible guest cabin which can be configured as a double or between two and four single bunks.
