Description
TAMTEEN is a 38.7m (127ft) tri-deck motor yacht with a fast planing hull and water jet propulsion. She was built in fibreglass by Trident Shipworks with exterior design by Baglietto and Paszkowski, delivered in 1998 and had her last major refit in 2013.
Exterior spaces on board include a sundeck with a bimini top and a jacuzzi up front, an aft-facing boat deck with dedicated stowage and launching crane for a RIB tender, and a spacious aft cockpit on the main deck which is fully shaded by the boat deck overhang and set up for outdoor dining with banquette seating and armchairs around a 12-seater wooden table.
There’s 293GT of internal volume on three levels, with interior design by Trident and Melody Savio. She is configured to host up to 10 guests in five cabins with separate quarters for a crew of four.
The main saloon is the stand-out space, open plan with a linear lounge arrangement aft and a separate formal dining area forward. Spiral stairs amidships lead up to the skylounge above, which has a sit-up bar, curved sofas and games table. The saloon and skylounge were both refurbished in 2008. Up forward on the main deck are the galley and a double guest cabin.
Down below, the guest accommodation includes two large suites: a double VIP and the master cabin, which has a marble-clad bathroom. There’s also a twin cabin and a smaller double.
Her tender is a 5.5m (18ft) Nouvrania RIB with a 50hp outboard and she also carries two Yamaha jet skis.
Powered by twin 3,040hp MTU 16V396TE diesels (with just over 3,000 hours on each) driving a KaMeWa water jet, she cruises at 19 knots with a range of 1,800 miles and has a top speed of 30 knots. Naiad 404 stabilisers are fitted.
