DAYA is a Mangusta 105 – one of the most widely acclaimed and successful sports yacht models to come out of Italy – with a contemporary interior, plenty of outside deck space and excellent performance. She’s designed to host up to eight overnight guests in her four comfortable cabins with capacity for another two passengers for daytime cruising. A key benefit – quite unusual in a yacht of this type – is her two-lounge layout. To ensure a high level of comfort on board she is fully air conditioned throughout.
The sky lounge has a lounge facing a sit-up cocktail bar. It’s open plan with the wheelhouse so guests can enjoy a forward-facing view as she slices through the waves, with a big sunroof to let the sea breeze flow through. The main deck lounge is a spacious and comfortable lounge with an adjustable height table which, when raised, converts the port-hand side of the lounge into a dining area.
With the aft glass doors open wide, there’s an easy flow out into the main deck aft where you’ll find a snug and secure seating/dining space, two double-width sunpads and steps leading down both sides of the transom to her large bathing platform, which is an excellent launch pad for her jet ski, paddleboards and kayak, as well as a great place to go for a swim. She also carries a jet RIB tender for beach landings and swift transfers from ship to shore.
The master suite is a full-beam cabin with a sofa and desk flanking the bed, large windows on both sides, a walk-in wardrobe and a spacious en suite bathroom. There’s also a VIP cabin with a queen size double bed and a soft on one side, plus two twin-bed cabins with private en suite bathrooms.
When the anchor is down or she’s cruising at lower speeds, the foredeck offers an additional sunbathing zone for guests, with a triple-width sunpad on the coachroof. Gym and exercise equipment is also available for your daily workout.
At her top speed of 34 knots she’ll eat up the miles and give a thrilling ride. Throttled back to a comfortable offshore passage speed of 24 knots, she’s still twice as fast as a typical displacement yacht – you’ll be in Nassau in no time.
