Price reduction on AD LIB

*Updated asking price: following a considerable EUR 750,000 price reduction, AD LIB now has an asking price of EUR 8,750,000. The yacht is very much for sale and the seller will consider all sensible offers.
AD LIB is a 40m (131.2ft) all-aluminium displacement motor yacht built to Lloyd's 100A1 SSC G6 Yacht + LMC MCA classification by New Zealand’s Alloy Yachts and delivered in 2006. She has exteriors by Ed Dubois and Donald Starkey styled the interior spaces.
On her sun deck, AD LIB has a flybridge forward with bench seating and steps down to the wheelhouse. Aft is a hardtop with skylights in the forward section. Beneath the hardtop is an al fresco dining area with bench seating outboard on both sides.
Towards the rear is a wet bar and BBQ while on the aft deck is a jacuzzi and sunpad. Steps to starboard lead to the main deck where there is open-air dining with banquette seating aft and a wet bar by the main saloon entrance. Overhead, is a retractable sun awning. Steps lead to the foredeck where there is a large raised sunpad.
AD LIB welcomes nine guests in four cabins. The owner's suite, forward on the main deck, is reached via a door in the lobby that opens into the owner’s private office. In the bedroom suite there is sofa seating to starboard and forward there are his-and-hers en suite bathrooms sharing a central shower room. Aft in the suite is a large walk-in wardrobe.
On the lower deck there are two double suites and one twin cabin with an additional berth, all en suite with separate shower rooms. Port forward is a gym with Concept II rower and C9 exercise bike. Forward of the guest accommodation is the galley, crew mess and accommodation for six crew.
From the main lobby, steps lead to the raised wheelhouse and onto the flybridge. In the main saloon, there is a formal dining area forward and a lounge area to the rear. A bistro table and chairs sit at the saloon entrance from the aft deck.
AD LIB has a side-opening tender garage that houses a dive compressor. On the foredeck, there is stowage for two PWC launched via deck crane.
Two 1,450 hp Caterpillar diesel engines give her a cruising speed of 13 knots and a maximum speed of 16.5 knots. She has a transatlantic range of 4,500nm at a passage speed of 10 knots and is fitted with zero speed stabilisers.
