RIBELLE is for sale
Published 21 August 2023
The sleek, low-profile lines of the 32.6m (106.9ft) RIBELLE are designed by Malcolm McKeon and she has breathtaking interiors with copper accents by Remi Tessier. Her DNV-GL certified hull was constructed in carbon fibre and titanium by renowned British racing yacht builder Green Marine before being fitted out by legendary Dutch shipyard Vitters and delivered in 2017.
Her painstaking construction gives her a displacement of just 90 tonnes and she is capable of speeds up to 20 knots in moderate conditions. A lifting keel reduces draft from 6.1m (20ft) to 4.1m (13.4ft) to give her excellent performance as well as access to shallow ports and anchorages.
As well as winning podium positions in several Mediterranean regattas, including overall victory in the Maxi Yacht Rolex Cup 2017, she won three awards in 2018. These are Sailing Yacht 30-49.9m at the World Superyacht Awards, Best Interior Design at the Boat International Design & Innovation Award and Sailing Yacht 24-40m at ISS Design & Leadership Awards.
Today she comes to market in immaculate condition following a recent repaint of hull, mast and boom and she also has a brand-new set of cruising sails.
Deck spaces include a line-free guest cockpit aft of the coachroof. A step down aft there are twin helm stations outboard to deliver excellent views all round and fully-automated sail controls. Aft of the helm stations there is a sea terrace that ends with McKeon’s signature curved teak transom. The foredeck has two flush hatches and lends itself to all sorts of guest activities.
A curved-glass coachroof supported by copper-sheathed carbon beams delivers 360-degree views. Tessier's use of copper, a beautiful metal rarely used in superyachts, is exquisite. Sourced from the company that supplies bespoke fittings to Bugatti, the copper shimmers in the light to bring in warmth and animation. Clever lighting emphasises and softens cabins, where white leather, light woods and brushed titanium combine to create a sense of peaceful sophistication.
RIBELLE's highly experienced original owners optimised the space available to create a near-professional standard galley including blast chillers and an undermounted hood. They considered the crew to be an integral part of the yacht and provided crew with quarters of the same standards of finish and fit-out.
She welcomes six guests in three lower deck cabins: two double cabins and one twin cabin, all en suite. Under sail her range is unlimited and on calm days her 262hp Volvo Penta diesel engine gives her a top speed of 12 knots, a cruising speed of 10 knots and a maximum range of 2,000nm at her passage speed of eight knots.
Having sold the yacht in an in-house deal in 2021, we are very pleased to have been re-appointed as Central Agent for the sale of the 32.6m Vitters sailing superyacht RIBELLE. She comes to market with an asking price of EUR 16,500,000 and the yacht is lying in Porto Cervo where inspection is eagerly encouraged to appreciate the yacht’s quality and condition.
