Sold: luxury yacht DEJA VU

Published 27 May 2016

Burgess is proud to announce the sale of 50.3m (165ft) motor yacht DÉJÀ VU. Burgess, representing the seller, sealed the deal on 26 May 2016.

Following the recent sale of ELANDESS, this is the second yacht Burgess has sold that was displayed with the company during the Palm Beach International Boat Show earlier this year.

A fantastic Dutch pedigree yacht, DÉJÀ VU was built in 2000 by Feadship, C Van Lent & Zonen in The Netherlands before undergoing an upgrade in 2013. Her original build specification called for a seaworthy yacht capable of cruising anywhere, including the shallow waters of the Bahamas and the far reaching Pacific Islands. The result is a vessel capable of extended ocean passages with a shallow draft allowing her access to cruising areas that are normally prohibitive for a yacht of her size. Her 2013 yard period saw a full exterior repaint, interior upgrades, electrical work, safety system update, and a vast array of new watertoys added too. With the exterior and interior designed by Donald Starkey, this high volume yacht exudes charm and elegance with abundant natural light and beautifully crafted wood helping to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
