Alistair joined the Burgess team as a Technical Manager in 2023 following a varied career at sea. Alistair completed a dual cadetship with P&O Containers qualifying as both a Deck and Engineering OOW Unlimited. Alistair has spent time in shipyards as a refit Project Manager and new build Project Engineer. Since 2010 he has been Chief Engineer on a variety of high-profile private and charter yachts.

Time away from work is spent in the outdoors, either sailing, snowboarding, or cycling. Alistair lives in the UK with his partner and two children.
