Kate is a Chartered Accountant (CA|SA) from South Africa who joined the Burgess team in 2024 as a Management Accountant within the Yacht Management team, bringing a strong foundation in Accountancy and Finance from the University of Cape Town. Kate completed her training at Deloitte in London, specialising in the Private Market Division where she gained extensive experience across a variety of industries in financial management and auditing. Kate’s expertise, international experience and personal pursuits, as well as her keen eye for detail and a passion for excellence, make her a versatile and dynamic professional in the field of chartered accountancy.

Kate’s global perspective, shaped through international training and diverse professional engagements, allows her to provide insightful financial and strategic insights. Outside of work, Kate’s passions include reading, baking, playing and watching tennis and travelling.
