She’s based at the heart of the French Riviera but designed and built for high-speed offshore voyaging, so the wild coasts of Corsica and the best cruising grounds of Italy – Sardinia, Amalfi, Tuscany and the Italian Riviera – are all within cruising range. Weather permitting, you could sample them all on a two-week charter, spending a few days in each.

Her accommodation is designed to host 10 or 12 guests on board with service from an experienced and permanent crew of seven, who keep AK ROYALTY in immaculate condition. Her layout combines the essence of an open-style sports yacht with superyacht dimensions and features.

The sundeck has a jacuzzi pool, day beds, a lounge and a bar; there’s a foredeck lounge with seats and spacious sunpads; the huge main deck aft has another bar plus a dining table, an expansive lounge and more sunbeds astern, where you can watch the dramatic wake as she powers through the sea at more than twice the speed of an average yacht.

With all guest cabins on the lower deck, there’s ample space above for an extra-large lounge. The interior styling by Nuvolari Lenard combines blond hardwood surfaces with dark hardwood details and cream textiles with fine brown leather. It’s a sociable, open plan space with a comfortable lounge, a sophisticated dining area and great views out wherever you choose to be.

The master suite is a full-beam cabin with a king size bed, a sofa, a study desk, two walk-in closets and his-and-hers en suite bathrooms, one of which has a large rain room shower. She also has two queen doubles and two twin-bed cabins with extra pullman berths, so her versatile accommodation will adapt to suit your needs.
