Rallye Monte-Carlo
The Monte-Carlo Rally takes place in January each year.
The Monte-Carlo Rally, or Rallye Automobile de Monte-Carlo, is held under the auspices of the Automobile Club de Monaco organising committee in association with the FIA and WRC. International teams race around the south of France in stages across four days, starting in Haute-Alpes on Thursday and ending on Sunday in Monte-Carlo.
The event was founded by Prince Albert in 1911 to promote advances in car design and tourism in the Principality.
