Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show 2024 wrap-up
Published 04 novembre 2024
This year, the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show (FLIBS) celebrated its 65th edition with unparalleled scale and sophistication. The world’s largest in-water boat show, FLIBS 2024 lived up to its reputation, offering a dazzling array of yachts of all sizes, plus marine innovations, over five spectacular days.
From 30 October to 3 November, visitors to the ‘Venice of America’ were treated to displays across seven iconic locations. A must-attend event for boating enthusiasts and industry insiders alike, over 1,300 boats were on display paired with thousands of cutting-edge products.
‘FLIBS is going through their 65th anniversary. It’s a really unique show because we have AMARYLLIS which is a 78 metre, but you can also go all the way down to the smallest tenders and jet skis. It’s got every shape and size of boat for every individual. It’s a really good place to start, get your feet wet, and really understand what you want you want to get out of yachting.’

A celebration of engineering and design excellence
From sleek, contemporary yachts to powerhouse vessels built for ocean-going exploration, FLIBS was a true testament to the industry’s progress and creativity. Attendees had the opportunity to experience firsthand some of the finest yachts currently on the market. Each boat and product reflected the peak of marine design, engineering, and craftsmanship, setting new standards in luxury and performance.
Insights from the Superyacht Village
The Superyacht Village, one of FLIBS’ dedicated zones, offered a glimpse into the world of luxury yachts and industry trends. Guests were treated to a deep dive into the world of superyachts with specialised talks on industry trends by leading industry professionals, from discussions on the next generation of yacht owners and insights into the American brokerage market to a candid conversation between two current superyacht owners.
