Burgess introduces Chef Andrew Elliot on board this year's star charter yacht, 112m (367.4ft) RENAISSANCE

RENAISSANCE charter guests have high expectations of the cuisine on board, and Chef Andrew and his team are poised for their arrival. ‘We are constantly excited to have guests on RENAISSANCE,’ says Andrew. ‘We are coming up with new ideas for them, and practicing dishes all the time.

‘When we finally put the dish on the table, it could represent months of work or be the result of inspiration yesterday.’ Either way, the food is as exquisite as you will find it anywhere in the world, and tailored to your palate.

Andrew has been cooking since he was 14 years old. His travels are reflected in his menus. ‘I’ve been cooking for 23 years, with 10 of those years in yachting. South-East Asian cuisine is one of my favourites - their repertoire of food is incredible, you can never stop learning from it.’

RENAISSANCE is a yacht unlike any other that charter guests will have stepped aboard. ‘When you come up to her on the dock, she is almost intimidating. She is beautiful and grand.

‘Grand is the best word to describe her.’
