Sailing yacht PATEA is for sale
Published 29 août 2024
Burgess is pleased to announce its appointment as exclusive Central Agent for the sale of the 29m (95.2ft) PATEA.
Built to RINA Class, PATEA was delivered by Turkish shipyard Alia Yachts in 2012 and refitted in 2021. The 29m (95.2ft) Solent-rigged sloop has been designed by the renowned Warwick Yacht Design who also completed the naval architecture and interior design. Merging performance sailing and pure comfort on board, she is ready to exceed all expectations at sea.
Exterior spaces
PATEA is designed to make the most of her chosen cruising location, bringing guests together with an array of excellent features. There’s a shaded cockpit dining area seating up to 10 guests for open-air dining protected from the elements, while the addition of a pop-up 32in TV transforms the space for star-lit movie nights.
On the aft deck, the bench seating can be converted to serve as a sun lounge, triple sunpad or an informal dining area. The transom also folds down to create a large swim platform, while the sidedecks lead to a foredeck sun lounge nestled in a recess between the coamings.
Interior spaces
The cockpit spreads into the vast deck saloon which boasts 360-degree views through large picture windows and deckhead skylights. Arranged in a lounge and dining room set-up, the space can also transform into a full lounge area with armchairs and a sofa. Finished with oak flooring and rich American walnut cabinetry, the design contrast creates an opulent feeling.
Forward is an internal helm station that doubles as a bar at anchor. Steps to starboard lead down to a TV lounge which can be made up as an extra en suite cabin, and further steps aft lead down to the guest accommodation.
Guest accommodation
PATEA sleeps up to eight guests across four cabins. The full-beam owner’s suite is located aft, and it’s flooded with light thanks to hull ports and hatches while also boasting an en suite shower room, sofa to port, and vanity table/desk area to starboard.
Forward of the owner’s suite are two additional en suite cabins: one double and one convertible. She also sleeps four highly capable crew.
Power
Her state-of-the-art sails and sail-handling technology result in above average cruising capabilities, making her a great option for extended world exploring. On calm days, a single 435hp Volvo Penta diesel engine gives her a top speed of 12 knots, while her 10-knot cruising speed affords a remarkable range of 20,500nm. A fin keel with a draft of 3.7m (12ft) optimises performance and access to shallow anchorages.
PATEA comes to market with a competitive asking price of EUR 3,250,000 and is lying in the West Mediterranean. We strongly recommend inspection so please contact your Burgess broker for more information or to arrange a viewing.
