Ed is a naval architect in the Burgess Technical Services team. He joined Burgess in 2013, having worked at Lloyd’s Register as a plan approval specialist focusing on fire and safety aspects of large yacht and passenger ship design. Prior to this Ed completed a graduate programme at Lloyd’s Register, after graduating from Newcastle University with a first-class Masters degree in Marine Technology with honours in Naval Architecture. In his spare time Ed enjoys all sports including sailing, windsurfing, skiing and rugby.
