Description

The 29m (95.2ft) Solent-rigged sloop PATEA is a 90GT composite yacht built by Alia Yachts in 2012 and refitted in 2021. Designed by Warwick Yacht Design, PATEA blends performance, luxury, and innovation, offering an extraordinary opportunity for experienced sailors and adventurers alike. Renowned for her fast and comfortable cruising capabilities, PATEA is perfectly suited for relaxing on the Mediterranean. She’s fully equipped with air conditioning for ultimate comfort and excels as an exploration vessel, providing safety and stability as a reliable offshore cruiser and passage maker.

PATEA’s deck layout has been thoughtfully designed to balance leisure and sailing efficiency to offer a beautifully well-rounded experience. The line-free guest cockpit, shaded by an extended coachroof with skylights, features an open-air dining space to seat 8-10 guests at anchor, and provides a safe space for enjoying the journey underway. The area also features a 32-inch pop-up TV, perfect for movie nights under the stars. Aft, elevated helm stations offer excellent visibility and intuitive push-button sailing controls, making navigation simple. The aft deck includes bench seating that can be used as a sun lounge, a triple sunpad, and a second al fresco dining option. For water activities, the transom folds down to create a spacious swim platform with a bathing ladder.

Venture inside and discover PATEA’s bright and airy deck saloon with panoramic 360-degree views through large picture windows and skylights. Exuding warmth and sophistication, the satin-finished light oak floors and American walnut cabinetry create a warm and inviting atmosphere to relax. The saloon can be arranged to accommodate a full lounge area or elegant dining space, complemented by an internal helm station that doubles as a stylish bar. Below deck, PATEA can comfortably accommodate up to eight guests in four cabins, including a full-beam owner’s suite, a double cabin, a convertible cabin, and an additional en-suite cabin that can also serve as a TV lounge. The layout thoughtfully ensures privacy and functionality, with separate crew and guest areas.

PATEA’s extraordinary sailing performance is thanks to her Southern Spars carbon rig and advanced sail-handling systems, including in-boom mainsail furling and an asymmetric masthead spinnaker. Powered by a single 435hp Volvo Penta diesel engine, she can achieve a top speed of 12 knots and an impressive range of 2,200nm cruising at 10 knots. Her 3.7m (12ft) draft fin keel balances performance and accessibility, allowing her to explore shallow anchorages. Her modern and sustainable design includes up-to-date machinery with hydraulic and DC motors, supplemented by solar panels on the coach roof.

PATEA’s distinguished charter record is highlighted by her recognition with the ‘Charter Yacht of the Year’ award at the Monaco Yacht Show in 2012. Whether for leisurely cruising or adventurous exploration, choose PATEA.
