One of her best features is the layout of her sundeck. There’s a full-beam sunbathing zone up front with a windbreak screen to take the force out of a fresh breeze. Moving aft, there’s a sociable lounge with twin tables and a sit-up bar, then a square jacuzzi under the hardtop with a big TV and a couple of day beds with plenty of shade. There’s a great outdoor dining space on the upper aft deck and the main deck aft is also superb – a sociable, comfortable, elegant lounge.
Another great feature is out of sight beneath the waterline – her shallow draught, which enables her to explore places that other yachts can’t reach. This is really useful if you want to cruise the Bahamas, where many anchorages and most of the routes between them are off limits for deeper-draught vessels. It’s also very useful in the Caribbean where she can anchor closer to the beach, with more shelter from waves and swell, than many other yachts of the same size.
When she’s anchored up in a beautiful spot, there’s a splendid inventory of small craft and watersports gear. Her main guest tender is a 10.5-metre (33ft) Boston Whaler – ideal for fishing trips, snorkelling and diving, and smooth transfers from yacht to shore. She also carries a 5.5-metre (18ft) RIB for water skiing, wakeboarding and towable toys. There’s a water slide too, plus kayaks and paddleboards, SeaBobs and Waverunner jet skis, E-foil boards and more. For scuba enthusiasts there’s a dive compressor on board.
Her main inside spaces merit a mention: two sumptuously comfortable lounges on the main and upper decks, each with a different, inviting vibe. The master suite is also a treat – a showcase of fine classic woodwork with office and lounge areas, and a bathtub in the en suite bathroom. The other four cabins are three doubles and a twin, fitted out and furnished in the same classic style.
