Cannes Yachting Festival 2024 wrap-up
Published 18 September 2024
The 47th edition of the Cannes Yachting Festival brought plenty of on-the-water action to Vieux Port and Port Canto. Over the span of 10-15 September, over 50,000 visitors graced Cannes’ pretty shores ready to see some of the best yachts on the sub-500GT market.
This year, there was a strong eco-innovation theme aimed at promoting sustainable solutions (think engines and materials to waste management and services), providing interesting insight into the future of yachting.
Every year the boat shows add something new to entice audiences back, and this year was no different. For 2024, the shiny new feature was a power boat marina exhibiting 170 motor boats.
The Burgess team were (and still are) incredibly proud of the line-up we presented at this year’s Cannes Yachting Festival. Our best show to date, we had some fantastic yachts on display including the 42m Custom Line ASANTE. Among ASANTE’s most prominent amenities are her spacious sun deck with a 360-degree view of the surroundings and her generously appointed beach club with a bar for socialising and unwinding with friends and family.
Elsewhere, we had the 42m Benetti WILLOW, 40m Benetti Oasis TOSUN, and 38m Custom Line SODAN (among many others). You can view the full list of yachts Burgess displayed at the Cannes Yachting Festival here.
The 2024 show brought together some of the most exciting yachting innovation we’ve seen, with buyers, owners and brokers alike extremely pleased with the resulting turnout. We’re excited for what next year brings.
Looking to Monaco…
Now the Cannes Yachting Festival has closed its metaphorical doors, we’re turning our attention to the Monaco Yacht Show. In the idyllic setting of Port Hercule, running from 25-28 September, this year’s show will have an equally sustainable theme. The 33rd edition will showcase over 120 superyachts and around 60 luxury tenders.
