Four more varied additions to the sales fleet
Published 08 July 2024
After transacting over half-a-billion euro-worth of assets in just 21 days in June, it’s clear that the Burgess Brokerage team sells yachts like yours – whatever kind of yacht that is. The same expertise we bring to the large yacht market, we also bring to every other size and type of vessel.
As an example of this, we’d like to introduce four more yachts recently added to our sales fleet: a sub-3,000GT apex motor yacht, a 60m (196.9ft) Northern European yacht, a 499GT sailing ketch - all three are major award winners - and a super-capable explorer/support yacht.
HERE COMES THE SUN
This is an award-winning, as-new Northern European yacht packed with every feature her 20 guests could want, yet under the 3,000GT threshold. She was rebuilt at Amels in 2020-21 with a 6m (19.7ft) extension, after which this DNV-GL-classed steel and aluminium yacht emerged as an 89m (291.9ft) yacht with a full repaint and a host of enhancements, winning Best Rebuilt Yacht at the World Superyacht Awards 2022.
Her restyled beach club covers 120sqm (1,292sqft) and has fold-down sea terraces either side and an extended swim platform with hydraulic bathing steps aft. Forward of the beach club is a wellness centre with sauna, steam room, plunge pool, shower and dayhead to starboard and a massage room and beauty salon to port. Other features include a glass elevator serving lower to sun decks, step-free access from the lower deck lobby to the beach club and a private owner’s deck.
There are two new bridge deck VIP suites with 12m-long (39.4ft) balconies. She has a new 7x4m (23x13.1ft) counter-current pool flush with the main deck aft, the sun deck was extended aft for a fully certified helipad for a Bell 429 or H145, and she also has a foredeck touch-and-go helipad. Add two helipads to a range of over 10,000nm and three tenders including two custom Yachtwerft Meyer tenders and the possibilities for adventure are endless.

SALVAJE
The all-aluminium flybridge ketch SALVAJE is constructed to Lloyd's classification and MCA compliance. A yacht of exceptional pedigree, she won the International Superyacht Society Award 2014 in the Best sail 40m+ category. Deceptively spacious at 499GT, her centreboard lifts to reduce draft from 11m (36.1ft) to just 4m (13.1ft), giving her both performance and access to shallow anchorages. On arrival, two tenders beneath foredeck hatches, 7m (23ft) and 5.4m (17.7ft), let you get ashore.
Several features rarely found on sailing yachts include an aft deck jacuzzi, a fold-down transom swim platform, a hydraulic side boarding ladder and a winter garden that can be enclosed by glass screens to create a climate-controlled space. She has been fitted out with the very best of everything: Southern Spars, Nitronic rod rigging, sails by North. Both rigs were serviced in January 2024 during her 10-year class survey when she was also refitted. Expansive deck spaces include the 60sqm (645.8sqft) flybridge.
The interior shows Reymond Langton Design at their brilliant best. Aft in the main saloon a beautifully designed staircase leads down to a sensational guest lobby, off which are the full-beam owner's suite midships. Under sail she shows the perfect blend of performance and comfort. Under power her single 1,450hp Caterpillar diesel engine gives her a top speed of 14 knots and a maximum range of 6,500nm at 12 knots.
