What is the Singapore Yachting Festival?

The Singapore Yachting Festival is one of the premier events on the nautical calendar in southeast Asia. Highlighting the region’s secluded cruising grounds, the burgeoning yachting community within the area, and providing a global platform for the latest developments and technologies in the industry, the show is a highly-anticipated event.

When is the Singapore Yachting Festival?

The Singapore Yachting Festival takes place in late April every year. Spring is considered one of the best times to visit. Temperatures remain warm, humidity is low, and it falls within the dry season, which means rainfall is kept to a minimum. The Festival sees visitors explore the global metropolis by the cooling water during the day and hitting the designer shops by night.

Where can I get tickets for the Singapore Yachting Festival?

Purchase e-tickets directly from the show website, which are then redeemed on the day at the registration counter. Children, 14 years and under, can enter the show for free when accompanied by an adult. VIP tickets are restricted to visitors aged 18 and over.

Where is the yachting festival held in Singapore?

The yachting festival is located at ONE°15 Marina Sentosa Cove on Singapore’s island of Sentosa. The marina and waterfront leisure hub provides an ideal setting for the show, with a marina basin surrounded by shops, restaurants, and club amenities, not to mention a private yacht club in one of Singapore’s premium residential districts. The island of Sentosa is accessed via road, cable car, pedestrian boardwalk, and monorail, and even offers island membership.

Who are the exhibitors?

Each year, a raft of premier superyacht brands exhibit - from Sanlorenzo and Ferretti to Bluegame and Riva. Floating booths line the dock, covering everything from yacht builders and designers to tenders, engines and even business jets.

Why should I visit the Singapore Yachting Festival?

Singapore is a gateway to Asia’s marine industry. Alongside an exciting exhibitor list that speaks to and reflects the increasing appetite of a Singaporean and Asian yachting audience, the festival also presents numerous industry networking and learning opportunities, such as the ICOMIA Boating Industry Conference. The two-day event will address sustainable business practices for long-term growth and provide guidance for decarbonisation in the recreational marine industry.

What else this there to do in Singapore?

Perched by the water’s edge, Singapore’s Art Science Museum is a must-see attraction for all ages. Housed in a lotus flower structure designed by architect Moshe Safdie, the building holds more than 20 galleries showcasing the finest exhibits from the art world. Then there’s the beguiling sands of Lazarus Island, which flies under the main tourist radar and offers seclusion in style. But of course, for the ultimate private excursion, we believe that embarking on a yacht charter from Singapore is the only way to immerse in this unique area.

Admire the skyline from Marina Bay

The neon Singapore skyline is something to behold, from the Merlion Park water fountain to the giant observation wheel known as the Singapore Flyer. None are more iconic, though, than the engineering feat that is the Marina Bay Sands hotel. The 56-storey hotel with its ship perched on the roof is a double wonder, with an Instagram-worthy exterior and the equally breath-taking views it offers of the skyline from its observation deck. It also houses the world’s largest rooftop infinity pool.

Discover the best of local cuisine on a food trail

Of all the Hawker food centres in Singapore, the cast-iron Victorian structure (which was shipped from Glasgow) of Lau Pa Sat is perhaps the best known. Its satay is so good, they named an entire street after it. For something a little more premium, Makansutra Gluttons’ Bay is where it’s at. Located next to the Esplanade Theatre on Marina Bay, the smaller hawker centre comprises select stalls serving up good quality favourites.

Visit the Gardens by the Bay

Spanning 250 acres and three gardens, Gardens by the Bay combines lush green open spaces with artfully designed conservatories and domes. Visit by day to see displays of tropical flowers, and by night for  the famed light show. It’s a key reason why Singapore has become known as the 'city in a garden'.
