Rory joined the Burgess Yacht Management team in April 2022, after spending 11 years at sea working on a wide range of merchant ships and yachts.

He holds an OOW Unlimited, has yacht racing experience in large performance sloops and smaller offshore racing yachts. He came ashore at the end of 2021 after working as the captain of a J-Class and he is now combining his yachting and commercial experience at Burgess.

Rory is also a keen rugby player, skier and kitesurfer.
