Ryan joined the Burgess yacht management team in 2013 after 12 years at sea. Ryan’s career began as an underwater research assistant completing coral reef biodiversity studies in South Africa, before working as a PADI dive master in New Zealand. After sailing around much of the South Pacific on smaller yachts, the superyacht industry seemed a natural progression. During the past twelve years he has worked on both private and charter sailing vessels, cruising worldwide. Ryan holds a Master (Yachts) 3,000GT certificate.
